This book was ridiculous in all the best possible ways. Sometimes, I find a character can be too much and I don’t want to keep reading… Brad Bradley!! You are entirely too much and I love you for it.
I’ve been sitting here for 15 minutes trying to figure out how to review this book. I’m not sure I am able to come up with anything spectacular enough.
Brad has his best friend, Jason. He works out. He loves his job designing video games. Then one day Brad meets Joey at the gym. Brad is this ridiculous person who loves people – don’t ask me how because I’ve never loved people. I digress. Brad loves people and he knows immediately that he wants to be friends with Joey.
They click. Despite the weird ways that Brad moves through the world – Joey somehow manages to take it all in stride. In fact, Joey quickly finds himself attracted to Brad. Brad is straight.
At least he thinks he is.
Don’t frown!!! This isn’t a “gay for you” kind of book. This book is a remarkable journey. Take the most loving and open, sweet hunk of a man and send him on a journey of sexual awakening. You get this novel.
This book is funny, charming, endearing, goofy and I loved every moment of it.
And there are appearances by characters from Emmy’s other books – AND NOW I HAVE TO READ THEM ALL!!
