My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Harris wrote one of my favourite books… “Surviving the Merge” and while the same great writing style is here, this book wasn’t a good match for me. I think one of the things I found difficult was connecting with the characters. The dialogue was overwhelming at times… a bit too flowery for me. I feel like I enjoy dialogue that reads as a bit more authentic. I found the perfect things that the characters always managed to say were a bit unbelievable.
Still a fan and will always read a new Harris book!
